I am doing a crochet pattern from a graph and I was interested in getting some instruction on how to change colors by tying knots.
Thank you!
Hi Michelle, I already responded to you via email, but I wanted to post my reply here so others who are curious about the cut and tie method could benefit.
All of my patterns include some instruction on how to use the cut and tie method to change colors. Simply check out one of my free crochet photo patterns here.

Although it’s not impossible to use intarsia crochet to change colors, it’s not easy when you are working with 8 or more colors and have multiple color changes in a row. So cut and tie is a lot easier.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
