  • Hi Patrice,
I am going through old messages and saw one from you at CGOA. About a year ago I posted questions about mentoring and self-publishing. You responded with a link to your article at hub pages. It looks like I never responed for some reason. I appreciated the link and just reviewed it again.
How are you doing with your crochet projects? Like you, I’ve crocheted for decades, since about the time I started school in the 1950s. My crochet pattern projects were set aside for a while and am picking up on them now. How are you doing with your patterns? I’m going over your site and getting familiar with it. I’m looking again for others to talk with about crochet and publishing (camaraderie for crochet as much as mentoring) if you are open to it.
It looks like you moved from New Hampshire to Hawaii. I lived in Franconia, NH for about a year in the 70s. Thanks for your message and sorry if I didn’t respond.

  • Hi Patrice,
I tried to contact you but failed. Could you please contact me at my email address? Thank you.

  • Patrice,
Would love to know how to create a written pattern for photo graphs. I have software to make the graph. But would love to make a wriiten pattern.
Please email me. I attempted to email you but it didn’t go thru.
    Thank you
    Brenda

    • Hmmm … I don’t know why my contact form isn’t working. Sorry about that. I can say here that, at this time, I’m not sharing my pattern making process because I am trying to bring some money in by selling the patterns. If you would like for me to create a pattern for you from the original photo, I can do that. I will email you.

  • Hi!!!!
I was browsing about in an attempt to find some info and came across an older blog of yours dated 2010, mentioning you were active in helping World Vision/knit for Kids. You see I recently joined the efforts in helping these kids but alas, I am a crocheter!! NO KNITTING!!! I see there is an extreme limitation of patterns for crocheter to choose from with the program and was wondering perhaps you knew of some that were acceptable to World Vision design people at this time. I have tons of yarn just waiting to be used and am a hopeless insomniac!! A wonderful combination for the kid of World Vision!!! I saw a peek of your work— BEAUTIFUL !! So I thought I would send a text for some assistance—my hook was down for a few years, but all is coming back fast!!! Any help would be great!!
I tried sending this through the Contact/Email however it kept repeating “failed” .. Try again later or contact system administrator. (Sorry)
    Thanks!!!

  • I have a picture that I would like to do, I need a quote

  • HI,
How long does it take to get the pattern once you receive the photo?
    This is genius!
    Sarah

    • Hey Sarah, thanks for your interest in my crochet photo patterns. It takes about 2 days. I work up a “pattern image” for you to review. Once you’re satisfied with the pattern image, I invoice you for payment. As soon as I receive your payment, I get to work on the pattern and have it to you shortly thereafter. If you have a photo you want turned into a pattern, send it to me at yarnoverpullthrough@gmail.com and we can take it from there.

  • Hi Patrice,
I just bought your ebook, How to Create Crochet Patterns, and I’ve come to the section in Chapter two that offers a link to the .pdf template to use as a guide for creating a note-taking template. Unfortunately when I click the link I get a 404 error code stating that nothing was found at the location. I attempted a search just in case it got moved, but didn’t have any luck with that either. Is there another way I would be able to find and download the template you reference in your ebook?

    Thank you for your time,
    Michelle
