Such amazing work I have been crocheting 50yrs had to retire after 23 yes of working due to injury. I have just recently started seeing all the portraits on line I have designed simpl6things but nothing this involved. Would love to learn this thank you so much.
Hi LaJuan, so glad you like my crochet photo patterns. The process is fairly easy to pick up. Clearly, you know how to single crochet after 50 years, right? :-). The hardest thing you’ll do is change colors and keep track of where you are in the pattern. And these aren’t difficult to learn.
I would recommend starting with the free Butterfly pattern and perhaps doing one or more of the other free crochet photo patterns here –> https://www.yarnoverpullthrough.com/free-crochet-photo-patterns/. Everything you need to complete the piece is included in the pattern. And you can always email me at patrice@yarnoverpullthrough.com if you have questions.
Then when you’re ready, email me at patrice@yarnoverpullthrough.com with a photo that you’d like converted to a crochet photo pattern. Good luck!
